Frost PTA Walk-A-Thon 2008

It's Walk-A-Thon time! At Robert Frost School a Walk-A-Thon is one of our favorite fundraisers that will take place on School Grounds on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30TH, rain date is Thursday, May 1st.
This event has the following advantages:
- Gives our students the opportunity to actively participate in helping their school
- Encourages physical activity and a healthy lifestyle-Builds school spirit
- No door to door solicitation - use the telephone or e-mail to gather pledges
- No money to collect/All pledges will be billed and collected directly by mail
Sponsor cards need to be returned to the homeroom teacher by Tuesday, April 29th. Extra sponsor cards will be available in the school office.
On Walk–A-Thon Day, the students will walk around a course for 45 minutes with music provided by a DJ. This event is NOT a contest or competition. All students are encouraged to have fun and walk at their own pace
Sponsors will be asked to pledge per lap or flat amount. Most children will walk 35 laps with 50 laps as a maximum. Therefore, $.35 x 35 laps is a $12.25 pledge. The minimum pledge is $5.00. Do not collect any money! All pledges will be billed and collected by mail.
