A hearty congratulations to the following Frost students and teachers who were honored this summer:
• To Kathleen Kowal (2nd Grade) for successfully completing the East Brunswick Master Teacher Program
• To Kathleen Parkinson (K and Pre K) for being chosen by her peers to receive the Governer's Teacher Award
• To Frost 5th Grader Ariel Fiekowsky, a student of Heather Romero, for being selected by the Zimmerli Art Museum to read a narrative she wrote, which was inspired by a print from that museum. Ariel was one of 30 4-11th graders who submitted narratives.
• To Frost 5th Grader Tiffany Liou who was a grand prize winner in Panera Bakery Restaurants' Art Good Enough to Eat competition.
A successful summer for the Frost community!!

The Frost PTA is looking for volunteers to help Chair some of the following Committees and Events during the 2007-2008 Academic Year
Pre-School Liaison
Chairpeople work as liaisons between the PTA/School District and local Pre-Schools to disseminate important information to our future parents. As an example, after seeking permission from the Pre-School Director, flyers might be distributed explaining budget and referendum information.
Book Fair (March 3 - 7, 2008)
Recruit volunteers to help at Book Fair. Coordinate sale including setup, restock, and breakdown with Scholastic Books. Coordinate Family Event Night. A four-day schedule is followed during parent-teacher conferences in the spring. Note that these are half days for students; however, chairpersons must be available until 3p.m. during the sale and Family Event.
Tricky Tray (Februay 22, 2008)
Plan and coordinate one of the following aspects of this exciting fundraiser, to be held in February. Solicit donations, handle publicity and brochure, coordinate volunteers, ticketing, setup and more. This Committee requires several chairpeople.
If you are interested in chairing any of the Committees or Events please contact Carolyn Frey.
